Miami-Dade County: New Housing programs for low-income families

The Miami-Dade County Government is committed to work on what it is important to residents in the area. Among a big list, the priorities for 2007 are focused on new and effective housing programs. It is expected to get by the end of the year about 1,000 new rental units to making them available for low-income families. Real Estate investments in Miami, Florida must be taken seriously always as well as moving forward in the creation of new jobs. There are also included two major projects : a Seaport Tunnel in order to relief the traffic in downtown Miami. And, it is also expected to support the idea of building a new Stadium for the Florida Marlins. According to Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Alvarez, these are just some of the issues pictured to be done in 2007.
