Everglades National Park services reopen
Due to hurricanes Katrina and Wilma a boat ramp way to Florida Bay was permanently closed since then. The ramp has been successfully reopened in Everglades National Park last Friday morning. However park managers asked boaters to navigate cautiously because of the mud and debris remains. Camping areas will be reopened soon and the Flamingo marine store is expected to reopen in March.
Florida Association of Realtors
The Florida Association of Realtors has new officers for the current 2006 year. Mike Dooley of Illustrated Properties in Hobe Sound as President, Nancy Riley of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in St. Petersburg as President-Elect, Broker owner of Century 21 Coastal realty Services in Fort Walton Beach Bob Hudgens and Treasurer Maggie Morris. The association also set up 13 new district vice-presidents representing different areas in Florida State. President Mike Dooley said that a Florida Broker provides an elevated quality of life to all Florida residents.
Available careers in home building
The Home Builders Institute works hand in hand with the National Association of Home Builders. They put together a “Make it Happen” career campaign at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando some weeks ago in January. The campaign was designed to highlight careers in the home building business. The “Make it Happen” program has been designed to let people know that the home building industry has a place for everyone interested in residential construction, marketing, home decorating, interior designs, mortgage banking, real estate and more.
