Art deco historic district festival in miami beach
The January Art Deco District Festival increases understanding and appreciation of the culture of the art deco period of 1925-1945. The proposal started in 1976 through the Miami Design Preservation League to attract people to Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District to the present day. Speeches and lectures, exhibits, demonstrations and entertainment are the main topics of this festival. Ocean Drive Street will be the meeting point along with the Art Deco buildings. New fitness club in coconut grove
Florida State has been ranked number four in regards to health clubs in the nation. Now, the first 24-hour fitness health club is going to hit Miami with NBA star Shaquille O’Neal. This health club opened its doors in Coconut Grove on December 10th 2005. However, this health club sequence also has two places working in Coral Springs and Plantation. And it is expected that by next spring another 24-hour fitness club will be opening in Pembroke Pines.
